Course Information

103 ADVANCED COLLEGE ENGLISH 11 - 1 Credit - Prerequisite: Earn a Proficient of Advances on the Literature Keystone Exam, teacher recommendation and /or an "A" average in College English 10 and College English 9, or enrollment in the YALE program.

This course is designed specifically for students who rank in the top 40 in their class and plan to take Advanced Placement College English 12.  It will include extensive reading assignments from American literature, and students will learn how to write analytical essays on various literary forms such as novels,  poetry drama, and short stories.
