🌟 Congratulations to Maddie Kolenc on Making the NAFME All-East Honor Orchestra! 🌟

On Saturday, December 7th, Yough High School’s KD Quiz show team (formerly Hometown High Q) won their first round match against Elizabeth Forward and New Castle. The match was close throughout, but Yough was the only team to answer both Math questions correctly in Round 4. This gave the Cougars the lead, and they maintained their position in front through Round 5. The team consists of  Sydney Scherich (Grade 12), Jack Kopp (Grade 12), and Blake Sullivan (Grade 11) and is coached by Mr. Frank German (high school teacher). The team will play in Round two of the quiz tournament at some point after the Holidays and will be televised. KDKA will re-air the Cougars first round victory this upcoming Saturday, December 14th, at 11:30 AM on KDKA TV2.
